Came here for a birthday dinner while travelling, I definitely enjoyed the ambience, the service was good until my server disappeared for 30+ minutes at the end of my meal, but the food was just okay. The absolute best thing I had was the birria spring roll appetizer, I could've eaten 100 of those. My steak was quite pricey but I ended up cutting off probably about 40% of it as it was just gristly fat. I've never had to do this before even at chain steakhouses that are half the price. Had a dinner date at Chop and it did not disappoint. Erykah was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was on point. I ordered the lettuce-wrapped burger — not always an easy thing to pull off — and they nailed it. Clean space, great atmosphere. I have been here before and ill be back next time I’m in Halifax.
We had an amazing dinner. The food was incredible and the service is some of the best we've ever had. Chop is definitely our restaurant of choice when we're looking to splurge or for any celebrations.
