Are You Crazy? – That's what I said to my girlfriend when she told me I had to get my haircut by "Her Guy" That was 6 mo. ago, and since then I've had two haircuts from Darin, i thought the first cut was awesome, but he out did himself again on the second, i can't belive that this is the first time in 28 yrs. that my female co-workers and friends continually complement my hair. Thanks D

Superb cuts, friendly atmosphere. – Got a cut from Darin and he outdid my wildest expectations. Asked a lot of questions BEFORE cutting a strand. Then gave me the shaggy, edgy bob other stylists had always told me I could never have! He's an artist with the scissors who creates cuts that can be styled from wild to mild with just a flick of the comb. the girl can cut some hair...yes! – kate has been my stylist for 7 years. i followed her over from her last salon and thank god she moved to chop chop. the vibe is super mellow and there's always new art on the wall every time i come in. my girlfriend says the colorists can do color like no other but i say kate can cut like edward scissor hands can sculpt ice...or hedges. you name it! the girl is dope. oh ya, get your hair washed by pooja

ATTENTION! – oh my god, Danny is the most incredible stylist ever! Not only do you leave his chair feeling like a new person, but watching him work on your hair is like watching a sculptor in his studio. The attention put into detail and satisfaction is phenomenal! There is good energy oozing out of every person in the salon down to every corner of the place. The ambiance makes it an excellent way to pamper yourself. A perfect get away in the the heart of l.a.

insane? – was i insane to go to a brand new salon, with whom i've had no prior experience to cut off more than 20" of my hair? you bet. darren, simply put, kicks ass. i've had my hair cut at every price range and skill level there is....and this cut is THE best cut and style i've ever had. he spent time with me while i tried to figure out if we cut it all off...or not....without any pressure or rush. all my girlfriends come out of there looking super hot too. if you want to be hit on by strange...make that CUTE men that love... read more

Great salon, great stylists!! – I've been a client of Helen's for almost 6 yrs... I was so glad that I was able to track her down at her new digs, Chop Chop Salon. I must say that I've never been disappointed by any haircut that Helen's given me, whether it be a more classic 'do with clean lines or a more creative style that I happened to see in a magazine and wanted for myself. Whatever the style, Helen's managed to make it work for me (and trust me, with my hair type, that's not easy)!! I've recommended her to many friends... read more

Great Experience! – Helen was great! She's beautiful, funny and can work miracles with her scissors. She gave me a new look and I love it! The salon is great also, clean, spacious and has an awesome decor. Loved the experience and I'm definately going to be a regular.

The Words Out! – Darren is an amazing stylist. I have long hair and have too often gotten it all cut off. He listened to what I wanted and my haircut is the best I've ever had. The space is beautiful and all the people who work there are so fun and polite. This is an LA gem!!!
