Chino Latino in artsy Uptown is usually wall-to-wall people, noisy and busy. Chino Latino is about dressing well, being current and making the scene. Look for the sparkly glitter marquee. If you can, stake out a large round, comfortable booth or group size table. The food and drink is as chic as the crowd. The menu features dishes from south of the border and Asia with many selections being hot and spicy. Choose from tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, Sweet and Sour Chicken, spring rolls stuffed with shrimp, chicken or noodles, sh... read more

Cool place – Cool uptown spot with good food, friendly staff, and an active environment. Who doesn't love that?
chino latios HAS BOMB FOOD!!!!!!! i love this restaurant, nachos de sol is amazing!! i love their drinks in a pineapple they are delicious!
Great food but pricey and noisy – This is one of the good restaurants around here. Their international menus really taste authentic or very close. Great service and ambiance, but it gets very noisy and rowdy. This place is a bit pricey, but servings are good for sharing family style. Bottom line = Good restaurant, authentic international flavors, just a bit pricey and very noisy
I will never return to Chino Latino – The reason I am writing a review, is because I have given Chino Latino plenty of opportunities to "wow" me. I have been here four times, and shame on me, each time has been a negative experience. The last straw was when I went here for dinner with some friends. Our server was so rude and condesending. She kept cracking these smart-a$$ comments that were really bizarre and came out of no where. She creeped all of us out. Now, our group has quite the sense of humor but this young lady was ... read more
If I could make babies with Chino Latino, I would. – I adore Chino Latino. It's a great place for a girls' night out, dinner with out-of-town guests, birthdays... The drinks are amazing (and potent!); I've never tried anything on the menu I didn't like (I'm a VERY picky eater); the servers are always fun and helpful. The decor is great. The bathroom set-up is... uh, interesting. The bar area is cool, but crowded. I LOVE the queso fundido and I crave the Chinatown Lo Mein. There are so many delicious options to choose from. I... read more
good food, great ambiance – Every time I've been to Chino Latinos it's always jammed full of people. Surprisingly the service always seems to be efficient, informed about the menu and friendly despite the constant flow of people. The food and drinks I've tried has always been good-- although there always seems to be an abundance of it by the time I/we're done eating. Chino Latino has a fairly unique atmosphere that feels very trendy and chic and tends towards a slightly younger crowd. Be sure to get a reservation if you're p... read more
HATED IT! – I have never been so displeased with any restaurant in my life! My friends and I drove an hour to eat at chinos and we didnt know we were suppose to make reservations so when we got there they told us the wait would be and hour to an hour and half. We decided to wait since we drove so far. The place was so crowded i could barely move and the noise level was so high i couldnt even hear myself think. So two hours went by and they still never called our name so we went to ask and the hostess rudely told us she could... read more
Fun Food, Fun Atmosphere All of their dishes are sooo good. I would recommend their french fries smothered in all kinds of toppings, and any of their desserts are amazing. When you walk in it feels as though you are in a different world. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing.
If you are a foodie, look elsewhere. – We have been to Chino Latino twice, once when they first opened then about 18 months later. I can make allotments for new restaurants especially one as ambitious as this. Mistakes made in week one should not continue if a restaurant is worth its salt. Anyway, the best way to summarize Chino is booze first, (read profit) chic second, food and service are way, way down the list.
