Kelsey on 7th floor dearth was absolutely amazing! I’m a young mom and was scared going into it not knowing what my baby was about to go through when we arrived that night. She made it so easy for me and was so thorough with everything! She made sure I had everything I needed, my mom needed and also my son!
Sarah in the emergency room needs to learn the importance of being a nurse for more than just a paycheck. If you don’t have the heart for it then don’t do it. She was very disrespectful. That’s just disappointing when you’re in the middle of an emergency.
Best hospital saved my sons life!!
I absolutely love this place. I’m a first mom and was freaking out today when my little one was constantly throwing up and running a fever. His doctor sent us here to get an ultrasound on his stomach. The moment I got there, they helped us right away. They were so friendly and willing to work with us. Having a sick two year old is no fun especially when he is irritable, but they still remained calm and work with our fussy little one.
very good place for children behavior out patient
We went to their ER and were taken to a room, right away. Totally unprepared for a two night stay, they were able to provide us with everything we needed. All of the staff at Children’s really do care about the kids that are being treated. They make sure that the parents are taken care of, as well. If you ever have to take your child to a hospital, and live in the Birmingham area, Children’s of Alabama is the one you need to go to!
my baby is 7 months old. failure to thrive, malnourished, hearing impaired, etc. we were admitted because he had a fever and stopped nursing as normal... they have done NOTHING to see why he isnt gaining weight and refuse to keep us until they figure it out. it doesnt seem to be a big deal that my almost 8 month old is more like a 3 month old both in termals of size and development. its me against 30 doctors and noone seems to be hearing my concerns. I'm fed up with this place
Great Hospital but the parking is horrendous. It took me over a hour to find parking in the parking garage. Thought I was going to miss my son being taken into surgery. Had me in tears.
