Children's Mercy Hospital is a Fantastic Hospital. Have never run into any employee that was sarcastic or rude. You have two fantastic guys that work in the cast department that go above and beyond their call of duty. They make my grandchild feel relaxed and just makes them so comfortable. I would say they are my number 1 pick of your employees in that department. KEEP UP THE OUTSTANDING CARE AT CHILDREN'S MERCY HOSPITAL!
I could not begin to express my gratitude for your loving caring patient ER doctors & nurses and the many nurses & doctors on the burn/trauma floor 2 Henson. Thank God for angels like you� My grandson will heal and Children's Mercy will always hold a very special place in my heart!!
My son has a brain tumor and we have been with Children's Mercy for 2 yrs now and have always had a pleasant experience with our doctors and nurses and all the staff. They take there time with us and don't just rush us out the door to see the next patient. We never have to wait long for appointments or when my son gets his MRI. We live 3.5 hrs away and it is worth the drive.
All 3 of my children have been seen by specialists at Children's Mercy. Let me say, it's an amazing hospital. All the doctors, nurses, x-ray techs, everyone we've met has been great. It's well worth the trip to Children's Mercy. The 1st visit to Children's Mercy was in November of 1992, with my oldest son. Now, it's with my daughter.
I've been taking both of my medically fragile kids to CMH for 9 years and have had generally pleasant experiences, with a few minor unfriendly exceptions, but hey we're all human and not perfect. Most of the nurses inpatient and outpatient are very friendly and helpful, the lab always gets it on the first stick AND without tears, and we've met some incredible doctors. This week was different. My daughter has a generic syndrome and has been taken care at CMH since she was two months old and they have been amazing! She is nine and she is still being taken care there. We are lucky to have them in our area. They have become part of our lives.
The best hospital I can ever think of to have any of my children at!!
We couldn't ask for a better hospital for our kids. We have been to Urgent Care multiple times, the ER multiple times, and many of the specialty clinics and have always been extremely happy with everyone. Kansas City is so fortunate to have such an amazing children's hospital.
