Absolutely disgusted with my visit today. Poor care and attitudes from all staff. I don't recommend taking a dog here.
ER is a waste of time after hours, no one has any idea what's going on. My son was emergency transferred at the request of a Children's Mercy neurologist to show up and sit there for 6 - 8 hours while we waited for an MRI and neurologist that never showed. We sat in ER all night wasting time and money to be told they'll call us to make an appointment.

Fetal maternal medicine did an amazing job taking care of delivering and taking care of me after my cesarean...our daughter was in NICU for 3 weeks and I can't image her being anywhere else. Her teams and nurses were unbelievably good at updating us and taking care of our daughter. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. They have your childs best interest in mind.
I have never experienced a team of medical professionals as I did on 9/29/16. Not only were they concerned and focused on the treatment plan for my great-nephew and what was best for him. But how they helped and supported the parents and the sibling. What an awesome staff in the PICU. God's blessings upon all of them.
