I love how everyone is very patient with my son who is autistic They go at his pace very very pleased with all children mercy hospitals and clinics.. Awesome job
Stormie has gone to the cystic fibrosis clinic for 9 yrs i love this place they have treated her like a queen and are very helpful to the parents as well with all the experience of the knowledge of cf to her treatments her care her stays would never go anywhere else
Children's Mercy has an amazing staff who enjoy doing their job. It makes it a lot easier to know that my child is receiving world class care from such great staff members. The PICU and 5-Henson Hall staff members were a blessing to me and my family!
The Drs were great. Some of the nurses not so much! I specifically told one nurse it was not necessary to hold my son down when giving the IV that if she talked him through it he would do great. She did not listen! Instead another nurse held him down and the nurse who the put the IV didn't get it the first time! I told them no more! When they switched arms and I said they will not be holding him down that they needed to talk him through it he did great! Worst hospital experience ever, after setting in the hospital bed for 4 1/2 hours ,after we had spent 2 hours at a previous hospital and transferred by ambulance which is a 2 hour drive, and getting pain meds popped in him every hour while his knee cap was dislocated they finally came in to do the procedure that took 3 minutes to do
