From entrance to Exit the staff was Kind, generous, extremely knowledgeable and efficient. 5 Star nursing care. Always a smile and there for you in seconds for any need. I'm very disappointed in Tampa General Hospital. My husband's HIPPA rights were violated not once but 4 times by a nurse at Tampa General. I warned the hospital in advance that this was going to happen and they did nothing to protect his information. My husband and I were born at this hospital and always thought it was the place to go. I will never go back there. I tried taking to a person in human resources and she was very rude. I spoke with the compliance office several times and it still happened. Terrible ER. Rude, uncaring, lack of compassion. 8 hours of laying there in pain with absolutely nothing, not even a saline bag. Nobody came to check on me and when I pushed the call button (only twice to use the toilet), the call was answered by the rudest person I have come in contact with in a very long time. The gal that came in to help me (red uniform) took one look at me laying there and said 'you're fine, the toilet is over there' and pointed to it and left the room. I can't thank them enough for giving me the most amazing care. I was fighting for my life when I was airlifted there from Bayfront in Port Charlotte. Everyone was amazing!
