I have several chronic conditions, so I spend a lot of time in hospitals. This has been my worst experience to date. Unprofessional, mean, rude .. every single person I came in contact with today.
This is not acceptable . Waiting to be seen 9hrs
I want to thank everyone that helped with the delivering and care of my Grandson. I can’t thank you enough!!! It was a very rough week and a half but he’s doing great now and is home. God Bless you all!!!
TGH is an extortionist. My wife had a sleep study scheduled through them. They gave her the runaround for over a year before she could finally have a home study done...for over twice the amount of what a full lab study with technicians cost me at another area hospital. I can't speak for anyone else's level of care here, but I can tell you that unless you need Level 1 trauma care you're better off financially anywhere else.
I waited 8 hours to be seen by a doctor for severe kidney stone pain. After 8 hours in the waiting room, they decided to admit me... but not before another few hours in the waiting room. Dirty, loud, chaotic and nothing to eat for 12 hours except an overpriced candy vending machine. What a disappointment.
Age old story in this country. Huge bills with no warning, going round in circles when issues can be addressed the first time. Doctors are nice enough but the whole system of referrals, pre approvals and insurance companies is HORRIBLE
