RecommendedTampa General is the greatest hospital in the world in my opinion. Dr. Erol Belli is amazing! He perform a triple by-pass on me on 12/14/2018, and I am doing very well. I couldn't ask for better care! Dr. Mehul Suman Patel, is another amazing physician. He demonstrated geniune concern to me during my stay. All my physicians checked in with me daily, sometimes more than once! I have nothing but good things to say about the entire staff. I'm very blessed to have received such wonderful care!
if you or your loved one is a dialysis patient DO NOT go to Tampa General. They are understaffed and are putting lives in danger. They almost killed my mom this week. She gained almost 20lbs and no one questioned it. They are 24 hour plus behind getting people "hooked up" it is a shame because someone can die and they will explain it away. Hospital staff and management are aware if the problem and don't care. Do not go to their ER and avoid TGH at all costs unless you want to go broke. I went to the ER for a shard of class that pierced through my finger. I was there 4-5 hours and was seen MAX for 15 minutes. They cleaned and wrapped the wound and gave me a tetanus shot... $900 bill!!! And that’s after the $300 copay. I won’t be going back ever again
Worst ED ever seen so far. 3 hrs waiting, staff gossiping at the nursing station and not able to help or show any professionalism. Nurse? Where? PAAAAIIIINNN!!!!!! Sorry, shift change. TGH, What are you gonna do with all the awards if everything is a big fat lie?
2 hours waiting for lower right abdominal pain. People being seen in lobby chairs. But if you have an executive friend who works there, you get to cut the line. What a cluster of unorganized chaos. Left without being seen.
I was in Tampa General Hospital for two weeks severe heart problems best care I’ve ever received in my life I feel fine now. Very caring people, great doctors
The new lifepath hospice on the 4th floor, is a really great addition. The ladies there were just angels and very comforting ❤ Well done!
