RecommendedTGH was there for my family when my father was brought in Saturday night to the trauma unit. They helped us transition my father to Life Path Hospice care TGH when it was time to let my father go. The team in this hospital is amazing with patient and family care.
not sure how it is now. But, it wasn't good for pregnant moms 12 years ago. They get treated like a number. St. Joseph's is excellent for maternity. Tampa General's emergency - they make you wait for many hours if you're not bleeding to death. In addition, you might get a good nurse, or you might get a bad nurse whom doesn't care about you, and is inappropriate & unprofessional. My mother came here from another area hospital. She is getting the best care. Getting surgery for hip replacement. Nurses are fantastic! Doctors are great too.
My husband Mike Porter received outstanding care from Cardiac Critical Care. He calls the Dr.’s and nurses “angels”.

My Dad had heart surgery and Dr.Hooker was fantastic! He also had to do some rehab afterwards and Pat and Brad were awesome!
They are a staff of highly trained and dedicated people.

They are very caring and efficient. Their training and equipment are cutting edge. It is a teaching hospital and they are all about explaining each procedure.
