Best hospital In Tampa! I am a RN on 3-H cardiovascular telemetry unit. Everyday I wake up proud to go to work and be able to part of a great organization like TGH where patient satisfaction is everyone's main priority.
Thank you all the nurses, every body on the 8 th floor west wing, amazing peaple, God bless them all
Spent less than 3 hours and was bill almost $1,000 an hour for simple flu-like symptoms. Better yet I was treated in the hallway where the maintenance man hit my gurney with his cart. I have the letter stating that they believe that they provided quality service! Oh yeah, ER doctor who I saw less than 5 minutes billed me $1,100. Go to redimed or surrender you wallet at the door!
My 14 year old had to be sent from Lakeland Regional to Tampa General to have her appendix taken out. Everyone there was so amazing and took great care of my girl. So greatful for all the doctors and nurses that work there.

Not a place to take children with special needs. Very upset with the way my daughter is unable to stay on her routine. She came in for surgery, told anyone who would listen that she has special needs. Didn't matter. She needed her home meds taken at certain times, unable to do so. Now she has to suffer. Staff is wonderful.
Thank you so much to all who cared for me ...God bless you all who work there are many who are very caring wonderful people...you know who you are ...not everyone has good bedside manner but nobody is perfect ..I thank those who made me feel cared for and helped me get better .
The worse experience I've ever had in a hospital. The nurses were so non caring and rude, I had major surgery didn't get my pain meds as directed by my Doctor, had no help getting out of bed for the first time to use the restroom, I was never asked if I needed so much as water to drink. When I left TGH I was so stressed out from my awful experience I literally felt as if I was having a nervous breakdown and cried all the way home.
