they're taking the trains out that all the kids look forward to just so they can put a Starbucks in. Such a sad decision.

Removing the trains shows that the leadership of this hospital doesn’t care about the patients (kids) well being. Stupid Starbucks? Really? Kids don’t need coffee, they need trains! Pull your heads out of your 4th point of contact.

RecommendedKeep the trains. It’s one of the few bright spots in the days of kids like my son who are at the hospital often. Children’s is already lacking in things for kids when compared to Scottish Rite, don’t remove such a beloved display. Starbucks can go elsewhere.

RecommendedPlease reconsider removing the trains! Consider the joy they bring to sick and or scared children. Consider the smiles it brings to the parents and visitors faces. I understand the Starbucks and Panera would be useful but the trains should be included in the design.
RecommendedIn addition to the care we received here, our kids always loved the trains. It is part of what makes it special for kids when they are going through a hard time. Please don’t get rid of the trains.
