For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

Unfortunately in the past our daughter had the opportunity to be treated there. LOVE THIS HOSPITAL. The staff is second to none.
We brought our 9-year-old boy to the ER Tuesday afternoon with a broken jaw and what we encountered is bordering on ridiculous. I understand that you receive patients in order of emergency and I understand that you probably cannot give us an exact time my son will see a doctor but we waited for 6 hours in a crowded waiting area with hundreds of sick people. The people at the hospital are great! But the customer service and billing after the fact is horrible! My son is type 1 diabetic. We attended an educational class for diabetes and my insurance was billed over $1,000. If I had not met my deductible on my insurance than I would have had to pay $670.
