For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

I used to love Childrens Hospital. They gave me support & love, really helped me heal. But there policy’s & laws are ridiculous. As a patient who sick with chronic illness, I should be allowed to converse with my providers when needed without my Mom being there. I should be allowed to discuss medications with my providers without my Mom being there. I should have access to my information without my Mom needing to give me permission.
