I spent many months in Children's Hospital as a teen for scoliosis surgery (back in the day) in Oakland same Great Hospital, new location. Was given excellent care regardless of ability to pay.Thankful that I can walk a gift from my surgeon Dr. Wm. Donaldson may he rest in peace.

Worst care ever by their neuro department, mainly the doctors. You never seem to get an answer.
My barely 2 week old son was transferred there with a cough and trouble breathing, during RSV season. They didn’t run any tests and sent us home. 3 days later we were being transferred to Akron Children’s hospital by ambulance and him intubated and in the NICU for a week being treated for RSV & Pneumonia. They could’ve caught it before it got as bad as it did.
Recommendedmy daughter is 7 and she had an amazing nurse Ben! all staff was wonderful
