My grandson was there for a virus. He had 3 awesome male nurses,can't remember all their names;but the one I do remember was named Timothy H. They were so gentle with him. Putting in his iv and pricking his finger. Thank you.
My son broke his neck and we were transfered from Hurley to Detroit children's hospital. From the moment we arrived we were informed, comforted and taken care off. My only complaint would be the facilities in ICU were small, not super clean, and sharing a common bathroom was surprising. From nurses to doctors everyone was great. Our follow appointments have been good as well. They have always gotten us in right away.
The staff and service was excellent. My grand daughter had surgery , it was successful and she's home recovering.
Children's Hospital is awesome. In 2010 my son was there and was diagnosed with Wegeners. The doctors there were on top of everything. The nurses on the 5th floor (west wing) and ICU were all helpful, caring, and sincere. We go back still every three months for routine check ups and labs. When we go down there, my son always wants to stop in and say hello to his nursing on the 5th floor. They still remember him by name and are still very nice towards him. The nurses were great, the doctors from the rainbow team were great. They got us got of there a soon as possible. Wifi wasn't great and I wish they had nick Jr. and Disney Jr .
