Needs to improve on care for children. Has really went down hill.
As I’m laying here in the couch in the PICU while my baby who turns 4 months old tomorrow is sleeping in her crib recovering from open heart surgery, I can’t thank the surgeons, doctors, APN’s, nurses, techs, and respiratory therapists for taking the best care of my daughter! We will forever be grateful for every single one of you! I wouldn’t want to have my child at any other hospital! This photo was taken in pre-op 😊❤️
The children’s hospital was wonderful to not only my son but to us as well!! It was the scariest moments of my life and they made it bearable! The nurses were wonderful, the doctors were thorough and wonderful at making sure all our questions were answered and attended to!!
My grandson was transferred here from another hospital and by far this hospital put him in the crappiest room I've ever seen. One tiny window and no tv. He's 4 and he's sharing a room with infants. So everytime he makes a noise he disturbs them. Nowhere for my daughter to sleep. I don't recommend anyone to bring their child here from what I've seen so far.

Thank you OSF for caring for my baby when he had to be transferred to the NICU for 12 days. Not only were the nurses and doctors focused on my son, but also made sure my husband and I were coping as well in what was a stressful situation for first time parents. We owe the 3rd floor staff and Dr. Javed everything.
So many things I can say but the only one that can express it all is GOD is in the hospital, the staff and surgeons!!! The best hospital! They really calmed me when my son had a mass on his abdomen that needed to me removed! I've never been through a child going thru surgery and they kept me calm and up to date...nurses are Fantastic, the surgeons are the best and even the hospitality care was amazing...they made sure are lil boy was healthy and safe and kept us up to date on everything!!
