My son had a problem since he was born and it took five yrs of suffering until I took him to Children's Hospital and found out he has Hirschsprung.. Dr. Gourlay is a awesome surgeon after a few surgeries my son is doing great.. He spent serveral weeks at children's over different times and without Jennifer Knighter a nurse on from West9 our stay wouldn't have been any comfortable she is the greatest nurse a child could have... I want to thank them for all their hard work and dedication to my son Zontario...
Spent almost 3 months there. Nicu and npcu are amazing!
Amazing place! My daughter just underwent removal of her right kidney and a Wilms tumor. Drs. Amy Wagner and John Kryger were here surgeons and were beyond amazing from explaining to help settle our fears. The nurses on the 10th floor are beyond wonderful. They are angels.

Our son Jay was on the PICU floor last week after what was supposed to be a routine TNA. It turns out he is a 1 in a million case affected with his lung disease. After surgery his right lung collapsed, and he needed to be intubated for a few days. After intubation Jay lost much of his fine and gross motor skills. We were scared, tried to be calm, and had so many questions. Dr. Atwood, Dr. Quintero, Jordan, Samantha, Brittany, Vicki, Kari, therapists and the whole 5th floor team were there for us and Jay.
