We just spent 8 days there with my 1 yr old grandbaby for an eye infection. They were so good to us and the baby. We had incredible caring nurses and doctors. We even had a nurse go above and beyond her name was Sidney and we loved her.
Saw Dr Arturo Aranda in the Pediatric Surgery ward/unit for my newborn's umbilical granuloma. He was wonderful, friendly, proficient, and personable. I felt comfortable and informed as he did a simple cauterization procedure. The office staff was also warm and accommodating, well above my expectations for a hospital. Looking foward to going back for our follow up appt. A+
Dr Narron in cardiology is amazing! She remembers us every year as if we see her weekly and is so sweet. She knows I’m a nurse but understands that when it comes to your kid you think like a mom and always puts my family at ease! I’m forever grateful she is who we were set up from day 1 with my son and who I hope to follow up with for as long as possible. Highly recommend her!!
I know my son and I were only at the hospital 24 hrs but I want to say thank you to Amanda in surgery and Jen in oncology for taking such good care of my son William while we were at Dayton children’s you guys definitely made him feel comfortable and knew exactly how to make us feel welcomed and taken care of you both are wonderful and went above and beyond for us and we are very thankful for the both of you!!! Keep up the wonderful work ladies it doesn’t go unnoticed!!! ♥️
This hospital sucks better off going somewhere else
My son Greyson was seen in the ER this past Sunday for anaphylaxis. I’ve never seen or experienced anything like that and it was frightening. All the staff were quick to respond, calm and super friendly!
Just left today after a 8 days with my 21 year old daughter with severe cerebral palsy. Came inthe witch a broken leg ( fragile bones) and a horrible respiratory virus. Made our way through PICU and specialty floor. All staff very caring and wanting to step up to help my girl and me. However, took a video for educational purposes to answer how to transfer and support her leg but got "talked to" about worker privacy issues and liability even through I had consent on video. Channel 7 reports the reluctance of this facility to come forward with a physician who inappropriately touched girls. This facility protects bad doctors. A DNR was placed in child's medical file WITHOUT parental consent. Yes, a copy exists with the Joint Commission. Parents beware.
