My son Braxton had surgery on Dec. 19 and we stayed on the 7th floor for 3 days. All of the nurses were fabulous but my son had an instant bond with Sara❤ We cannot thank Dr. Albert and staff enough for the incredible care my son was given and making our stay and recovery as comfortable as possible
Seen Dr. Elluru and he is absolutely amazing!! Makes coming to Children's worth it to see such amazing, compassionate physicians.
Everyone on the staff here is friendly and helpful! Such a great place and people to have when your kiddos need it A big thank you for taking such good care of my granddaughter, Cora, last night!
Our daughter had been seen by three different medical providers around our hometown, yet continued to get worse. We were referred to Dayton Children’s Hospital and received the best care. The entire staff - housekeeping, nurses, doctors, cashiers at the cafeteria, etc. we’re amazing. We have nothing but great things to say about our stay. And now our baby girl is healthy again!
This is the best place for a child to be if ill or hurt.The drs.there are excellent however my child has had 7 surgeries unfortunately alot of the nurses do not want to give the there painmeds even withdr.perscribingthem without a fight or a upset mother or father .I have never in all my life had so much issues wit nurses...so if your child is in any kind of pain plan on staying with your child is my best recommendation.
while I highly recomend dayron children's I have a concern. today my 2 year old daughter had her tonsils and adnoids removed and she is bread stfed still. we went back to recovery to see her and she was fussy so I asked the nurse if I could nurse her. she said " why dont you wait until we get you to your room so you have more privacy". but we were completely surrounded by curtains and it was just her, my husband and I and our baby.
