I could not have been more impressed with our stay at Dayton Children's Hospital! The staff was friendly, and we were kept well informed. Since it was near Christmas, my daughter got several toys, stuffed animals, and books. They even helped her shop for gifts for her family, and gift wrapped them all. She loved that. The room we stayed in was amazing, large, and private. The technology in the room kept her distracted at times. She enjoyed this experience as much as anyone in pain after surgery could. It’s nice to know that there are still gracious people in the world! My son had some noninvasive testing as well as bloodwork done this morning and was rather anxious about it. The sweetest lady named Tangela checked us in and gave Dax a couple gifts that made him feel more at ease and that he was so excited about! I wanted to say thank you for her incredible kindness!!💕
Never will I use the pharmacy or bring my son back. If you don’t like your job you shouldn’t work in a children’s hospital. That being said I don’t like for someone to be so rude when all I wanted was my child’s medicine.

As of right now this is the worst visit we have had. We have been going there for 10 years so there is no excuse for the mistakes that have been made so far this hospital visit.
I just want to thank all of those involved for the great experience and care given to my granddaughter and her parents this past Wednesday when she came in for some surgery at the new Dayton Children's Campus Springboro. They couldn't say enough good things of how they were treated and taken care of from the moment they walked into the hospital until they walked out. Exceptional staff!! Thank you, thank you!!
Made my 7 year old son wait for over 12 hours for an appendectomy after they determined he had an elevated WBC and they put him through several painful tests before finally operating...only to find out his appendix had ruptured, so we had to stay longer. The surgeon claimed it was clear the appendix had perforated before we brought him in--why did they not operate sooner? This is the second time Dayton Children's has failed our family, won't be coming back.
Absolutely amazing Doctors! Everyone is friendly and willing to help with anything!
