Had a referral to the genetics dept, it was a waste of time. The dr (de dios) decided the testing wouldnt need redone and then sent me a letter saying I didnt believe my sons genetic duplication was causing any issues and I refused additional testing. Not the way the visit went at all. Why else would I come to the genetic department? maybe the dr needs some drug testing, because hes smoking something. Very unhappy with the entire experience.

Clean, efficiently run facility. Always making improvements. Parking garage is very tightly spaced with limited handicap slots.
Had my son at the ER twice on Thursday for febrile seizures, the second time his temp was up really high. They decided to keep him and as soon as we got up to our room he had another seizure. All the nurses and Doctor's were wonderful with him. Very caring to him and us. Thank you so much.
We were very disappointed on how our son was treated and the care he received. He was 17 back in February 2019 and accidentally swallowed a plastic bottle cap. The doctor on call refused to come in to remove it. What the heck is "on call" for then? They pumped him full of pain killers all during the night until the doctor came in the next morning. My son has been here since Sunday morning and we have been treated very well by all the nice staff I was raised in Dayton OH and my mom would bring me here as a kid i would choose no other place to bring my child Thank you DAYTON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this hospital. They went above and beyond to take care of my son and make our 6 day stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you to all of the amazing nurses and doctors that took care of my child. You all are amazing ❤
We had an in and out surgery this past week with Dr. Bloom. The experience was great. The staff was so friendly and they took great care of our little girl. The procedure literally changed our daughter’s eye overnight. If I ever had to have our children in the hospital again I wouldn’t hesitate to pick Dayton Children’s.
