Recommended10/10 recommend Dayton Children’s ER. When we took our daughter there Monday night they were amazing! Everyone was super nice and worked great with her and this stressed mama. They have also called to check on her each day since to make sure she is doing ok and that we have no questions or concerns!
My 7 yr old had surgery 7/20/20 in outpatient services. Everyone was awesome! Everyone was nice, and made sure to make my daughter feel comfortable. Only suggestion, is to have more semi-solid food options for patients after surgery. My daughter was allowed to eat anything post op and cried because her stomach hurt from hunger. She was npo since midnight, and the surgery was delayed until closer to noon. The slushie and popsicle was not helping. I asked if they had applesauce and then nurse said they did not. Dayton Children’s has always been amazing for my 23 weeker! After having a seizure last night we were brought in by ambulance. We have been treated with so much kindness and every question has been answered. Due to him being high risk for covid we haven’t left our house. We have felt safe here, and everyone in the hospital is taking precautions. Thank you so much Dayton children’s for always being there for my son!
My 2 year old was there just last weekend for a 2 night stay due to a nasty leg infection. the staff is so amazing and one nurse really stood out his name was Jesse on the 3rd floor west. He was exceptional. highly recommend Dayton Children's.

My 3 year old son just got his adenoids removed this morning and it was a very positive experience, before surgery the nurses, doctor were wonderful making him feel comfortable and reassuring me he was in good hands. they played bubbles with him, colored with him, they took my concerns to heart and documented them for others to see.
