After years of neglect, Midway is finally getting the attention it needs and deserves. As Chicago's second, it is usually cheaper to fly out of than O'Hare International. You may be surprised at how small and easily navigable it is. Some fine it a welcome respite from the confusion of O'Hare. It is also easily accessible from the Loop via the Orange Midway El line. Leave plenty of time though. The train stops a goof half mile from the terminal. You then have to take a lengthy walkway to get inside and it does take some time.... read more

The people are friendly
Free wifi and plenty of comfy leather seats. Clean and hassle free airport.
Only 20 minutes of free wi-fi. Lot's of people. Short runways.
Nice airport, not much in A terminal though
Gah, I sat on a slimy piece of green pepper. Unacceptable. Get it together midway.

Not much to see or do at this airport. If it wasn't for Southwest I would have gone to Ohare.
