After years of neglect, Midway is finally getting the attention it needs and deserves. As Chicago's second, it is usually cheaper to fly out of than O'Hare International. You may be surprised at how small and easily navigable it is. Some fine it a welcome respite from the confusion of O'Hare. It is also easily accessible from the Loop via the Orange Midway El line. Leave plenty of time though. The train stops a goof half mile from the terminal. You then have to take a lengthy walkway to get inside and it does take some time.... read more

Bathroom lines got you down? Try the ones hiding in the C1,2,3 gates area. They're smaller but usually empty.
High winds bumpy for take off and landings
I avoid flying through here, even if that means a couple extra hours elsewhere.
Airport is packed at all times. Not enough seats at gates. Had to sit on the floor for an hour before flight

TSA Pre check is the way to go. It's worth it any time of day - regular security check is always a long wait. Not because of TSA, just people galore, always!
Never fly Delta out except on,direct flights. They are constantly late and miss connections, then it take superman efforts to get to one's final destinations. Automatic booking on the next flight is a
Terminal B, the Taylor Street Market is a decent, healthy-ish option in a sea of fast food.
