I met Rick soon after I bought my 4 Runner and brought it over to ChiTown4x4 for some common and customized functional upgrades. We spent the day doing the mods and had a ball talking over everything possible from lift kits to superchargers and winch bumpers. This shop will always get my business because they are real enthusiasts and are great to hang around with too.
Hands down a really nice company that has great products that they offer and install. Owners are real cool and personal unlike alot of the Chicago overlanding business out there that just want the money. I recommend checking out this company if you are into 4x4 or need work done on an overlander style rig or just a normal daily driver.

Long overdue review: These guys are great! Rick and Joe have done an excellent job on my 4Runner. King Shocks, Total Chaos UCAs, OPOR sliders, wheels, tires, LEDs, everything. They've even taken the time to troubleshoot the little things that come up when modifying a vehicle. I couldn't be happier with my decision to use Chitown 4x4. Very good guys and very good work!
These guys are awesome! Haven’t had any work done by them yet, but plan to in the very near future. Both Rick and Joe are super knowledgeable and personable. These guys are well equipped with in stock parts and accessories. Had to grab some recovery gear day before a planned off-road Park adventure and they had what I needed. Thanks guys! Looking forward to working with you much more.

Order started out great and went a bit off course midway, but Joe and Rick more than made everything correct. Above and beyond customer service. I would gladly deal with them again just due to the way they take care of their customers.
These guys are top notch. My new 4runner felt like it needded to be balanced. Rick took it out for a test drive and confirmed. Sent to to there local tire shop and they balanced them for me!!! Definitely going to be a repeat customer.
