Long story short....had to fire my surgeon while in the hospital and Dr. Wilmot stepped quickly and got the job done!
Wilmot saw my mother today, as a Uro consult for massive, intermittent belly pain. He didn’t read the file enough to know that she has Alzheimer’s, had a PoA, and has serious kidney issues. He knew NONE OF THAT, and was asking a dementia patient to recap the last 10 days of her ailment. I had a raised PSA and my Primary wanted me to see a urologist and have it checked out. I looked up Dr. Wilmot's credentials and rating which were excellent and made an appointment. My visit was on time, the office was new and spotless and Dr. Wilmot was very professional and my visit went well. I have a follow-up with him and I would highly recommend Doctor Wilmot to anyone needing to see a urologist.
Unfortunately I cannot tell you what kind of service he provides. I can tell you that his office staff are ridiculous. I have a PPO, no matter how many times I explained that to them, they still wanted to know why I didn't have a referral. It is not their business. This doctor is phenomenal and he actually really does his job well! His bedside manners are excellent and he takes care of your problem not just Band-Aid patching it. Watson Clinic lead me on for five years and did nothing but throw drugs at the problem which was no help. I continued to get worse. Dr Wilmer investigated the problem and had the problem resolved in a few months. I couldn’t be happier!

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Wilmot. Saw him over the course of about 5 years at Largo Diagnostic Clinic and I'm sorry he went to Lakeland. Come back! He explained things well to me and opened my eyes to many products that helped me tremendously. I've probably had 5 urologist doctors over the last 20 years and all the others were a waste of time to go and see. My health would be better had I been seeing Dr. Wilmot since the start of my problems.
