Stumbled across The Chelsea Inn while looking for a place to stay (dec 27-29), absolutely loved this place. My wife and I loved the room and the staff was very nice and helpful. Parking locations are very close if you drive into the city. Prices were extremely reasonable, and location is perfect. Will definitely be back very soon.

Very good location, clean, comfortable with necessary facilities but minimal services. Rooms are small but functional. Staff ok but not especially friendly. Insist NOT to be given room in basement next to laundromat!
Expect a nights rest and nothing more. Quality service and customer satisfaction is clearly anything but a priority for these guys!!
1)The sheets were not changed once in my 10-day stay. The floor was not vacuumed. 2)One night we couldn't use the shared toilet because it was clogged. We were told to wait to be fixed the following day. 3) Most of the staff members at reception were not polite. 4) There was a RAT in my room. I found myself moving my suitcases all by myself from a third floor down to again three more floors up because the receptionist "couldn't leave the reception unattended".
