Havent stayed here. My partner and I booked Chelsea Inn for my 30th/our honeymoon in May. We are from Australia. Due to Covid19 we were unable to travel to NYC. We requested if we could obtain a credit for new dates when we can eventually travel and its safe to be in NYC.We were denied that request apparently they feel it's okay to pocket $$ from customers despite a global pandemic. Tried emailing the hotel several times and they delete my instagram comments. This hotel appears to have zero compassion. Wouldn't recommend.
we had a great time staying here, but when we left in the morning for a walk October 11th we didn't put the Do not disturb on the door so the housekeeping went there and my bracelet is gone its Opal Gemstone though. i left it on the bed and when we came back around 6pm the room was tidy up. i realize it when im checking on it at the airport. i don't know who's the housekeeping that time, that was October 11th 2019 my room is #100
Not a great experience! We were promised a specific room, (although they say they do not do that) and when arriving got the room that was so tiny that we could not have our suit cases in and walk to the toilet. NEEDLESS TO SAY...IT WAS TERRIBLE. We went to another hotel that was top notch and fabulous for the same price!!!! What a difference. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND $$$$$. A TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!

Ideal location in Manhattan. Center for everything and near subway station too. Service is good except the payment processing that always happen that they have double charging all the time. I don understand why.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small but very clean and the mattress is nice and firm. My wife and I have a hard time finding a firm mattress when we travel. She wishes there was a full length mirror in the room, but we are picking knits at this point. A great two night stay.
