It’s a beautiful place with a lot to offer everyone
We come almost twice a year from New Jersey . We have camped in our motorhome and stayed at the hotel with the giant whirlpool tub. We love it there. We are coming the end of April
My daughters and I had a wonderful experience during the recent “Let’s Go Camping” event. We learned valuable information about putting up our tent, building a fire the RIGHT way, cooking over a fire, and the stars in the sky!!! The hike we took the next morning was full of interesting facts and gorgeous scenery. I would recommend this for people of ALL ages but especially for those with kids!! Mandy Pearson is patient and does a great job engaging the kids!!! Thoroughly enjoyed it!!
I want to thank Cheaha State Park and their AMAZING staff for all the help you extended to a wayward Pinhotti Hiker who was really not doing very well. I loved staying in Cabin #3 and hope to come back soon to visit again. I have managed to get to a doctor and am feeling a bit better. Thank you and your staff again for everything they did from Mandy picking me up, to the golf cart ride to the top of the world here in Alabama to Cabin #3. We stayed at Cheaha State Park Alabama on our anniversary. My wife and I went there on our honeymoon and every year since, 28 years now. We always stay at the Chalets. The park is beautiful with a lot to see, trails to hike and kid friendly as we used to take ours and now our grandkids. The restaurant has a view second to none with the same service.
