Recommendedbeautiful place to visit
My visit to Cheaha State Park was amazing. I stayed in one of the chalets. It was very nice. I really enjoyed the trails, the attentive park staff and the peace and quiet.
Breathtaking views from the highest point in AL. Easy ADA boardwalk hike to Bald Rock. Restaurant buffet was great food for the value with a scenic view.
Beautiful sunsets, awesome views.

The most amazing place in ALABAMA!
EVERYTHING. Trails, lake, restaurant, hotel, chalets and most importantly the Staff. Stayed 4 nights with family and not enough. The people working at Cheaha are special and very good at what they do - Renee, Kelly, Mandy, Bonnie, Candace, Anna, etc. #WomenInCharge and showing us men how things ought to be managed.
After a wonderful weekend, it is a pleasure to share our appreciation for the staff at Cheaha State Park. There was a mix-up in our online reservation; and our cabin was not available. Mandy and the staff problem-solved so that we were able to stay in a chalet for our two-day stay. It was a very special experience as we shared family time in a beautiful setting. We can't wait to return again!!! Thanks so much to those who helped us have this special memory!
