Great choice! – Thanks to the Zagat Survey which always provides reliable reviews so that I get to explore more and more nice restaurants in town. Food, service and ambience were all great at Chaya Brasserie. We ordered six appetizers for 7 people to share, followed by main course for each one and finally four desserts to share. It's more than enough. All the appetizers were tasty such as duck salad w/ spring rolls, Kobe beef capriccio, fried shrimp with lobster sauce, Hawaiian tuna tarta.... My main course, White Sea Bass w... read more

Agua-Lychee Martini is AMAZING - ask for it. – This could be the best happy hour location in the city. It's a great after work spot where people are friendly and talk to their neighbor. The bartenders make the most incredible drinks with unique ingredients. Ask for the Agua-Lychee Martini. The bartender actually took the time to explain this new ultra premium rum that just came out called Agua Luca. Apparently, it is a high end rum from Brazil made from fresh sugar cane. They made these Agua Luca Lychee martinis that were in... read more

Best Happy Hour – Chaya has a fantastic happy hour with great wine selection and sushi at a good price. The crowd is real hip and it's fun to puruse the scene. It's great for after work.

The best filet mignon – The food in general is amazing, but the most notable I must say is the filet mignon. To this day, I haven't had any filet mignon as tender and flavorful as the one I had here.

Swell Happy Hour – They have happy hour every day of the week and it goes late. Really good deal on food and drinks. I always find the food and drinks to be excellent. Love the salads. Fun jazz on Sunday nights in the bar. Really nice atmosphere.

Still Hot After all these years – I am blown away by how great this place is. The food is some of the best food we have in this country!, The servers have all been there for years and are some good at what they do. I always see celebreties here! This is the place you bring someone if you really want to impress.

Come for the attitude – After a phone call confirming my reservation, we showed up 5 minutes early. After waiting 20 minutes for a table I asked what the problem was. I was told "15 minutes on a Saturday is not a long time." Excuse me? If I would've showed up 15 minutes late for my reservation do you think they would've held my table for me?? What kind of customer service is that? I've been going to Chaya since it opened but that was the last time. There are plenty of good restaurants in LA that don't serve up attitude with ... read more

This landmark of Asian-French fusion lives on with a cool setting and warm service. – In Short The eye-catching setting begins with a central bamboo tree opening into a dining space of black-tiled floors and slanted mirrors, and leads to a narrow covered patio. As the bar crowd keeps the buzz going, the waitstaff weaves around to deliver attentive service. Owner Yuji Tsunoda began his L.A. legend of Asian-inspired French cuisine in the '80s. Some of the most well-known dishes here are the signature rib eye steak in three-pep... read more

Great Food, OK crowd – The food here is great; blends of genuine, fresh Italian and Asian ingredients make the entire experience more than palatable. I'm not huge on the crowd, though many people here would enjoy it (it's just a little too far on the smug side). Definitely try the prosciutto appetizer! It is expensive, though.
