Great restuarant with a Manhattan vibe – this restaurant (and the one in Venice) has excellent food and a great ambience. The food is eclectic and creative. It's always packed and great for a date or with a group of friends. A little pricey but the food is worth it.

best lychee martini – monday night (all night) happy hours are great! no one can beat their lychee martini! it is not too sweet and has the right amount of alcohol (not overpowering, but not watered down either). during happy hour, i think it is about $5.50. not bad. the bar food is also good and affordable. can't go wrong with the spicy shrimp rolls. as for dinner, it is a bit pricey. it is good but not spectacular. it is a good place to just hang out after work.

10 years of impeccable food and service – Chaya Brasserie is what every exceptional restaraunt should aim to be. French-Asian fusion food is original and outstanding while the ambiance is beautifully sleek. The food has been consistantly good for over ten years and the service is impeccable. Heard the saying you get what you pay for? Here you pay well to get the best (food, service, ambiance). Always crowded and do not be surprised if your eating next to a famous actor or two.

Great martinis & atmosphere – I especially love their lychee martini! They also have great happy hour food. The atmosphere reminds me of a NYC lounge.

Delicious food, great atmostphere and service!! – I've gone to Chaya several times and each time I am always blown away by the food. I'm a big fan of fusion, and Chaya definitely doesn't dissappoint blending together french and japanese cuisine. Love to peppercorn ahi tuna with wasabi linguini and their dragon roll is a must to start!!! Lychee martini was always yummy. I have to rave about their new baked croissant dessert which is FABULOUS!!! My boyfriend and I ended up getting the dessert sampler and I like the baked crois... read more

Incredible – Great food, great service in a lovely environment. The meal was perfectly timed, speedy but not rushed. The wait staff was genuinely friendly and never crossed the line into being too pushy or nosey. The food and drinks were both delicious. Though this is not a quiet isolated dining experience it is still very romantic.

Excellence at its best – I am one of the pickest eaters I know, eat out 7 nights a week, and hold a high bar for great food. Chaya Brasserie is by far my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. First of all, they have a wide selection of food. If you have a large party someone can always find something they like to eat. The portions are large and the food is awesome! This is a staple restaurant - the kind of place you can go once a week and never get sick of because you know you are always going to get a great meal and not have ... read more

My Second Choice – Chaya was not my first choice for a Sat. night dinner. The tables were so close together that the waitstaff kept bumbping me and stepping on my feet the entire time. On to the food. The French flare unfortunately has invaded most of the fish offerings. I didn't care for "salad dressing" squirted on my softshell crab roll. Nor was I crazy about the over-powering fruit glaze on the salmon. Price? well, what do you expect, it's B'hills. BUT, enough is enough! Dinner fro two with drinks before and after is jus... read more

De-licious! – Everything is as flavorable as could be imagined, and I am one of those guys who freaks out over that sort of thing. Sometimes I don't like how you can't put the bar tab on your meal tab while waiting for a table, but what the hell.. every place is like that now
