Downright horrible service and food. – Recently visited the restaurant for dinner with a couple of close friends, we were all extremely disappointed, both at the level of service and the quality of food. Not friendly at all, have 7 people, they tried to sit us at a 6-people table when there are a lot of big tables available around, and we made reservations prior to arrival. Great decor, but prices high for the amount of food.
okay food, terrible service – My friend and I decided to take advantage of the restaurant's DineLA menu. Upon arrival, we waited about 10 seconds (not a truly terrible thing) before the hostess placed her call on hold and acknowledged us. She then led us to a small, circular AND WOBBLY table at the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen. My Favorite restaurant – Food, service, ambiance - everything is flawless. I've been to many places, but Chaya is the best by far. You get your moneys worth here.
DO NOT VALET PARK AT CHAYA BRASSERIE – The restaurant is very good. Wait staff was friendly and personable. However, DO NOT VALET PARK THERE. My vehicle was damaged while in their possession and they are refusing to take responsibility. BEWARE!!!
The Best Restaurant in LA – Chaya Brasserie is a fusion of Japanese and French cuisine and it was fabulous! The food was beyond delicious. I recommend the filet mignon. We had a sushi appetizer special that was amazing! The service was outstanding! They were constantly refilling our water and at the end the end of our meal before dessert they cleaned off our table with one of those crumb brushes. Chaya Beverly Hills I've been to this location several times and have always had a great experience. I'm surprised to hear people say they didn't like the food. I've been to many great sushi restaurants and thought the food was comparable. We had great service, delicious wine, sushi and an amazing wagyu steak. The atmosphere is beautiful. Great place to bring out-of-towners!
First Time This was my first time having Sushi and I was not pleased with it. I have heard some good things about Sushi, but I don't think this was the place for first timers.
