After years of anxiety with dental appointments, I came across Charlotte Dental Arts. It's been a life saver! Dr. Porter, the dental hygienists, and all the support staff are wonderful! I also appreciate the dental savings plan which provides an affordable option for the care I need. I highly recommend Charlotte Dental Arts!
My usual lady who has always done an excellent job was not assigned to me this time. Although the young, kindly and patient lady who cleaned my teeth yesterday did a good job on the cleaning, my mouth and inner lip were cut in three places. There was also a black line at the base of two molars where they entered the gum. This did disappear, but I wonder what they were. Again, let me say my teeth were cleaned well, and I believe my attendant has a bright future ahead.
I'm the worse Dental Patient. But the team at CDA treated me with kindness, compassion and caring during the two visits I've had with them. I have some extensive work coming up, and they took the time to explain all my alternatives in detail, and provided all the pricing right up front! I was super happy with my Visit!

The staff and Dr Porter are excellent and caring. Through all my dental procedures I was never in pain. They explained everything they were doing. Highly recommend this practice
My husband and I have been patients for more than 20 years. Dr. Porter is outstanding. We've had crowns, regular checkups, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Never had any pain with procedures. Done Invisalign for corrective repair of two teeth. Have their trays and whitening gel, which is far above anything you can find elsewhere. You will love the staff. Front desk to hygienists. Now being retired, we love their yearly dental insurance, which covers one free checkup cleaning.
Dr. Porter was very helpful & progressive in his treatment for my TMJ symptoms that I had been suffering from for years. After just 1 week his treatment protocols have already started to relieve the excruciating pain that I was suffering from. The staff is also very thoughtful & considerate with their care & assistance with payment options for treatment.
