We just had lunch on your dog-friendly patio and we loved it! The brisket sandwiches were outstanding with lean meat and tangy sauces. We thought that your BBQ beans, blackeyed peas, and macaroni and cheese were all exceptionally tasty. We also loved being able to bring our miniature schnauzer mix to lunch. Our server, Phoebe, was very attentive and friendly and we appreciated that. We felt that the value we received was excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit!
I'm from Texas so it's been a challenge to find good BBQ. Charlie and Jake's is as good as any you will get in Texas. great food and friendly staff. my new fav.
We love Charlie & Jake's -- good food, good prices!! Tried their fried catfish this time. I'm not a fan of catfish, but theirs was really good!

The prime rib was delucious! My husband had the 1/2 smoked chicken, he was quite pleased We will co3ne back and try some other delicious menu items.
Great place for BBQ. Food is delicious. Service is great. Fast and friendly. Drinks are on point. I highly recommend this place.
