I can not say enough good things about Dr. McCartney and the staff at Optim. Sam and his turtle "Optim" (named by his nurse) had their bilateral knee hardware removed today. In October the team took great care of them when the hardware was put in both his knees. Making sure Sam and his turtle were treated well. Today Sam wanted to be sure they saw the turtle to remove "plates and screws", well they did just what he asked. Dr. Goldberg performed surgery on my 12 year old daughter after she suffered a broken and dislocated wrist. On Memorial Day when most doctors were off, he came in to do surgery. He was amazing! 5⭐️ doesn’t begin to describe him!
It is unfortunate I must be so direct but the only constant with this organization is disappointment. I can identify at least 5 encounters where I waited 1.5 hours past my scheduled appointment time. The misinformation and disorganization is not only evident but obvious negatively affecting patients. Dr. McCartney and his PA were excellent; however scheduled appointment times mean nothing across multiple (at least 3) providers.
