Worst experience. Would not recommend this doctor. My visit reflected some of the other negative comments by other of her patients. She may be a good neurologist but it is hard to tell. The office itself is rushed, patients are treated like cattle (not enough seats for old people with walkers), no explanation about the nature of the testing (threatened with discharge if you ask questions,); do feel like money is more important than the medicine.
Dr. Chang was very condescending and rude. She did not want to listen or talk about any other treatment option besides what she wants to prescribe.
Dr Chang put me through the tests and prescribed the medicines, but when it was time to work with me on following up, it was a mess. The drug side effects dropped my blood sugar - her only response was to talk to my primary physician. A nurse called me the next day - completely unfamiliar with my circumstances, so I tried to clarify and update her, but instead she became combative saying I was wrong and hung up on me. I had to call back to speak with someone else. Customer service is terrible.
went to see her and was misdiagnosed by her. would not trust her. Said my work up for MS was negative when in fact it was positive .
Office staff were friendly and great. A copy of findings were provided a few moments after the testing. Dr. Chang was quick and efficient during the testing; questions and responses were kept to the examination. She was on task and very focused.
Dr. Chang really knows her stuff. Her staff is friendly and efficient. For anyone who requires a neurologist, she's the best in town. Her office is always busy , so be prepared to wait. Not surprising when you consider the results. Worth the wait.
Probably brilliant but does not like to hear that her recommended treatment is not working. Her whole attitude changes and she starts to get defensive and blame the patient for her inadequacy in the planned treatment. Poor listening skills and is way too quick to form an opinion without listening to the patient. Shows frustration in front of patient when her prescribed treatment fails. Always in a hurry to get to next patient.
My experience is that Dr. Chang's office is run a poorly informed group of poorly trained people with no sense of customer service . In particular Ashley, a curt woman who is a weak communicator, who has no interest in caring for Dr. Chang's patients . Not only did Ashley give me misinformation, but also to my referring Dr. and to my insurance company as well. This resulted in a waste of weeks and no appointment for the test that I needed. Stay away from this office!
