My partner had a brain tumor removed and has been going to Las Vegas Neurological Center. The crowds there are a bit intimidating. His surgeon recommended we try Dr Chang and called their office to refer him. I reached out to Dr. Beth Chang’s office hoping to schedule an appointment, but was disappointed by how the staff handled things. I was told the doctor needed to review my medical records before even deciding whether she would see me — without offering to schedule an appointment or letting me sign any paperwork first. I found this approach concerning, especially since I wasn’t given the chance to speak with the provider directly or give proper HIPAA consent. Terrible. Staff is extremely rude, and when called on their behavior, they don't like it. But, instead of talking to the patient directly, they call the patient's primary care doctor and tell them they decline to see the patient due to "disposition on the phone." Further, they flat out lied to the primary care Dr. They asked if care had been established with another neurologist. I told them no. And why that was the case. Was in a hurry. Never explains anything to the patient. Even does testing without explaining the test or what it is for. Does not explain results. Give diagnosis with very little testing.

During my first visit Chang didn't introduce herself, didn't offer to shake my hand, didn't address me by name, and worst of all she didn't even make eye contact with me until 10 minutes into the exam. She was more interested in looking at her laptop. When I tried to talk to her she didn't seem interested in what I had to say, and talked over me. She has zero customer/patient skills. She may be a good doctor, but I will not be going back to her.

He then ask, "So can I get an appointment?" She says "No go somewhere." We stormed out. We've filed a complaint through Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine & I do hope it helps people rethink visiting this office and to prevent mistreatment/ disrespect to people in the future.

The medical neurology admin Staff / Hiring manager which was a male , treated me with the up most disrespect! I cannot believe this place! A practice is supposed to help and encourage people not tear them down!! I recommend THAT THE DOCTOR SEPARATED from this place because the staff are horrible and rude ! Very unkind staff!

Very expensive, unfortunately my PPO approved $479 my end (on over $1000 Doc billed) for about 17 minutes work on her part. Simple, basic nerve test exam. The worst thing, it was reported there are "no problems" - everything A-OK. This belies the fact that there is still significant numbness, and nerve related pain burning, stabbing pain, in the extremity.
