Dr. Chafik had to have performed my radial head replacement surgery "perfectly." I have nearly 100% functionality after a surgery that typically leaves a person with only 70%.
An excellent surgeon who shows caring and compassion for his patients. He performed a difficult surgery that put me back to near 100% functionality.
Dr Chafik has been mine and my husband's doctor for over 10 years. I have to say he's one of the most personable honest doctors we've had the pleasure of working with. His medical knowledge and advise is very honest an upfront. I would recommend him highly to anyone especially if they have a shoulder problem.

Three days ago I had a reverse shoulder replacement done by Dr. Chafix. I’m deeply appreciative of the doctor’s training, skill, experience and expertise. I found him to be an excellent communicator and incredibly responsive. I highly recommend and will recommend to anyone considering shoulder surgery to engage Dr. Chafix. I certainly would want him to be my surgeon if, in the future, I found out that my other shoulder also needed attention.
I saw this doctor twice. He was extremely patient and generously gave of his time to explain my condition. He returns calls promptly and is willing to help even with any problem or questions.His knowledge is astounding. His goal is the least invasive method to solve the problem. I would recommend him very highly.
Shoulder discomfort due to bursitis and arthritis. Dr. Chafing injected the area and I had astonishing results! Staff was very friendly!
Most excellent experience. Just moved here from the north country and went through all the pre op procedures and Dr. Chafik's sincerity and eye contact while telling me how the surgery to do a reverse shoulder replacement would be done along with the do's and don'ts was like sitting in a movie theater. If you need some surgery, call this man.
Dr. Chafik is an excellent surgeon. He repaired my partially torn rotator cuff, suturing my supraspinatus tendon and cleaning up the shoulder joint in November 2016. The surgery went very well. He explained both the surgery and post surgical recovery period clearly and in detail, and the recovery went exactly as indicated. He is a very conservative surgeon who cautions strongly against damaging the repair by excessive use before 6 months. I am 4 months past surgery and doing fantastic.
