Dr Chafik did a reverse shoulder replacement for me three weeks ago. My pain was reduced almost immediately. He was open to any questions I had before and after surgery. He offered a very balanced picture of what life might be like after a replacement. He is reserved at times but very kind as well. I appreciated how quickly he was able to perform surgery when he observed my pain level and read my X-rays. The office is very well run and communication is excellent. The staff is friendly as well as competent.

Doctor Chafic, told me id never play racket sports again if I had replacement shoulder, then he clarified after I said I know many people that are still playing. Advised me replacement would wear out in 4 years and reversal very difficult. I guess he could have told me that over the phone or text. HaHa. Wasted 3 hour morning.

Six months ago Dr. Chafik performed a reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder. Having already required both knees replaced, I went in very discouraged but he was so reassuring and took so much time to explain and answer all our questions. The recovery was much faster than anticipated and I now sleep without pain, and have so much more movement of my arm. Dr Chafik has been my shoulder doctor for 8 years. He knew I would need a reverse shoulder replacement but watched my shoulder joint so he didn’t perform the surgery too early. He is very thorough and explains everything. Very patient. I had my surgery a year ago and it was a breeze!! Very little post op pain and my joint works better than I ever dreamed. Also love his assistant, Carlos!!

I am happy to receive an accurate shoulders diagnoses and treatment from Dr Dara Chafik, MD Orthopedic Surgeon. It’s really tough having a shoulder Rotator cuff tear. Dr Dara Chafik, MD is very kind, absolutely knowledgeable and has his patient’s best recovery injury Orthopedic diagnoses in his Care. After breaking my arm in 3 places near the elbow, as a grandmother I maybe couldn't have expected to recover full use of my arm, but I did. After receiving a plate in my arm, the scar is perfectly straight and barely noticeable on the underside. He elected not to make a 2nd incision to remove a bone fragment.
