Bad reviews...not possible! I absolutely do not agree with the bad reviews. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Marmalejo since 1985 and have never once had a problem with any of the staff. They are always efficient, friendly and compassionate. I would not even consider taking my pets to any other clinic. My pets have had general visits and vaccinations, nail clippings and Dr. Marmalejo and his staff have helped me through the loss of 3 dogs. No One Cares More Than These People Chabot Veterinary Clinic gets the Highest Rating Possible. They take expert and tender care of your pet from beginning to end. They were my vets from the time I moved into the Bay Area until the time I moved out, which was a total of 14 years. I wish they up and moved to Illinois with me, but they just couldn't leave their other beloved clients behind. I know I'll never find another Veterinary Practice that will care for my pets as much as "Dr. George" and Dr. Hughes cared. With their help... read more
- Dr. Carolyn Harvey is AMAZING for small mammals - we've taken our guinea pig there and the care is always excellent. She is very thorough and willing to answer questions.
Generous Veterinarians! I found a dog on the streets and he looked thrown out and diseased. The dog had a huge wound and I immediately took it to the nearest vet I could find. The doctor said that it was a tumor and that it would cost $1000.00...It was really devastating and my family and I became really sad because it wasn't our dog to begin with and we had two choices: put him to sleep or to pay for his operation to get the tumor removed. Compassionate Chabot Clinic Dr. Marmelejo, is amazing! He was recommended to us by my cousin and we have never regretted switching over. He helped us when it was time to put down our precious Sarge and stayed with us and let us take our time. He is amazing, thoughtful, and thurough with our other 3 pups. We even would drive 2 hours when we moved to see him. He really does provide World Class Service to your four legged family member!
RecommendedOver the years we have been to several different vets, but never experienced the sense of partnership we have found here. It’s like extended family... they all care. From the desk to the assistants to the very knowledgeable doctors... the entire staff has always been caring, sensitive and professional. This is where we take our loved ones for care.
Dr Harvey is just the best - she has taken care of my bunnies for years, so kind and caring. She truly loves them all. She is always very supportive and has helped me get through the hardest times too, when the tough decisions must be made. I trust her judgement 100%, she tries EVERYTHING possible and never gives up - she has given me strength to try more when I thought we were done and gave me more time with my bunnies.
