Succulent it ain't – Tried their tacos but found them stale and dry with just a hint of authenticity. Mine is a minority opinion judging from the crowd standing in line for 15 minutes. Loco Burrito is so much better, more authentic, but a long way from downtown.
Great little place in the middle of the Pearl – Just a nice place for some very good and cheap Mexican food. This place does a wonderful job at getting you great food in a short amount of time.
EXCELENTE! – i've been to the NW glisan cha cha cha's twice now and they always deliver on both taste and price, as well as fast, efficient service. this is, by far, the best mexican food i've had in the whole state of oregon - not to mention it is authentic. as long as i live in portland, they have my business for life!
Bad food if you've ever eaten good mexican food before! – Maybe this is just a regional thing, and I'm comparing CCC to San Francisco's dozens of "mission style" burrito places . CCC's burritos are soggy and boring. They don't give you a choice of beans (black, pinto, refried), there is little spice, and the meat is both skimpy and not very well grilled. It is better than McDonald's by a mile, but for real burritos go to SF or LA. Or better, yet, someone please open a mission style burrito place! You'll make a mint.
good food at a good price – stumbled in here after doing laundry. Got 4 taquitos a basket of chips and a beer for $9. Fresh ingerdients and fresh diced jalapenos made the dish! The music was bit loud for conversation. Deffinately go back.
Fresh but boring in flavor – When I think Mexican food I think of a lot of flavor. When I think of Cha Cha Cha I think of very fresh food that has little flavor. Normally in this situation I'd make up for it by dousing in hot sauce or salsa but what Cha3 provides is 2 home made concoctions of salsa/hot sauce that are terrible. Get some good salsa and you have a cheap, decent Mexican place a step up from fast food. The Pearl location is the best of the bunch in my opinion.
Quick and tasty mexican food – I can't believe how good the food is for the price! I would expect to pay double for this quality and portion of mexican food. The service has always been quick and friendly.
Different type of mexican food – We love mexican food- and this was a nice find! Although different from your typical mexican food, Cha Cha Cha has a great variety! Did I mention cheap? Always a plus for good food.
Hoped It Would Be Better – A little hole in the wall with counter service. Thought it would be a great find, but was disappointed by surprisingly bland food. If you're in the area it's worth a quick inexpensive lunch, but don't go out of your way.
