Food was awesome. Casual place. Crowded, busy. Lots of bustle.
Terrible – Service is very rude and food has been getting worse and worse over the last couple of years. Watch out for the stale chips and the meat in the burrito can be funky. Last time I was there, Hubert tried to give me someone else
Gone to the dogs. – I have been going here since roughly 2004. Back when Mario ran the show there, the food was incredible, service was great and food was served fast and hot and vegetarian/vegan friendly. I probably ate there about three times a week during my college days at PNCA. Sadly Mario went to the Cha on Broadway and they restaffed. Now the service is short and rude. Good food, but better environment – The prices were good and the food was good. Not as good as the local roach coaches, but better than most. I really enjoyed the friendly people and atmosphere of the building.
I'm over it! – Seriously. I've never been demanding or rude. I'm always polite and say please and thank you. The woman who is always working the counter rolls her eyes constantly. She acts as though I punched her mom when I ask for sauces. I think I just ate there my last time!
Absolutely terrible. – I've never been crazy about this place, but I know people who like it, so I went with friends. That night I was throwing up every half-hour and defecating basically constantly. It was awful and not nearly tasty enough to make it near worth it. If I never go there again it'll be too soon. Even taking that aside, the staff is stand-offish. I read a review on another site saying that they found a rock in their burrito and the staff just blew it off and I totally believe it. It's that bad. Don't go here.
no more - im finally giving up – had some good times there... but just too many exceptions. owner is not a nice guy (customer saturation?) once or twice he has been sorta pleasant but too many rude 'gimme yer money' moments combined with very inconsistent food have finally sent me away for good. prices were always appealing but i guess you get what you pay for. ive never personally gotten sick here but one friend has, (at my invitation) i still went back anyway. im a slow learner.
I got sick – I went there today and got 4 chicken tacos, within 25 minutes of eating them i was vommiting and sooo sick at work that I had to go home and I am now im in the bed. I called them to let them know and instead of a simple sorry, thats all I wanted, they said: "Now what do u want??" Bad bad bad business. Its a shame too, times are tough now and they should value their customers more especially if they are serving people bad quality meats and ingredients. Yummy Mexican! – Really great fresh food. The el pastor pork is really flavorful. Quick and cheap, this is a great place to grab food.
