I have cerebral palsy myself and need support and no one reached back..
I have a special needs son and he has come a long way

I think it's good, I also have curable palsy but very mild, I'm 29 and have 2 beautiful daughters, it's nice to be on here and not feel alone :-)
My daughter is having hip surgery in less than 3 weeks. She's having proximal femoral varus, bilateral acetabuloplasties, derotational osteotomy with close hip reductional, and adductor tenotomy. I want to be 100% prepared at home for her recovery. Will she be able to sit on the couch? Should I buy 800 pillows? Is there something I should have on hand that I wouldn't think of? Is there something you wish you had known before? If anyone has any tips, I would really appreciate hearing them!
my daughter was born 10 wks early she has epilepsey and we r waiting on a diagnosis of c.p but she is showing all the signs and plus dystonia. Love this page reading all the stories i can relate to them all.B-)
