Very resourceful page. It allows you to see that your not alone
I work with adults with developmental disabilities and I love what I do.
My daughter was diagnosed with CP when she was 1, they (doctors) said she wouldn't talk, walk etc, but the Devil was a lie. My daughter is now 16, she can talk, she is in a wheelchair not able to walk, she has been thru so much(surgery after surgery) but thru it all she is here. My daughter taught me patience and I've always said she is my guardian angel bcuz when I look at her and can still see her smile on her face I can't/Dnt complain. She is my blessing....
I love it
I see enough bull on fb but this is by far the greatest thing I've seen... My daughter will be six and is diagnosed with CP and I wouldn't give this girl up for the world it's not easy but it's her life and I'm glad to be blessed enough to be her strength
What an awesome site for everyone to share their stories and reach out to others who face the same obstacles!! My son is 19 months and just a few months ago got diagnosed with spastic diplegia CP. We are beginning our long journey to building him a better future. He is a very motivated baby and that's what keeps us going!!! I'm glad I'll have a place to share his story and help others if needed :)
I Have an 11yr old Little Man...he is verbal and has CP...he's The Best thing that has ever happened to me...he is so Loving...friendly...Happy...and Cheerful all the time...He Makes my Everyday So Special..its a Struugle at times bit for TY it's well worth it..to see his JOY!!!
