Dr. Hedaya is an amazing physician. I first started seeing him in 2013 when no other physicians knew what was happening to me. I had lost my ability to read and write and couldn’t even remember how to take a shower. I have two Masters degrees, so this was extremely alarming and difficult to deal with. Dr. Hedaya analyzed various tests and discovered that I not only had Lyme Disease, but I also had two co-infections. Dr. Hedaya is an incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, and caring doctor. He understands physiology in a way that is beyond the scope of most physicians, even in areas outside of psychiatry. I would say he is a master psychiatrist and physician. He looks at the entire body and all of its systems, and understands the ways in which they are interconnected and linked with one another. The Whole Psychiatry & Brain Recovery Center sounds supportive on the surface, but I quickly realized it's designed for a very specific and wealthy clientele. They don't accept any insurance, meaning all their fancy tests, supplements, and customized plans are out-of-pocket. If you aren't ready to drop thousands of dollars on your mental health, this isn't the place for you.
