I have been in the emergency room before for the same thing I went for yesterday and never had a problem getting treated. Yesterday I was there for 2 1/2 hours for them to tell me that they are not going to help me with my pain because they no longer treat people with chronic pain. They need to put a sign out front so other people don't waste there time just for someone to tell them to go home and deal with it after they milk your insurance for nothing. I will NEVER go to this hospital ever again.

I was there for 6 hours in pain.. After being called to the back for treatment thankfully the chair reclined so I could get in a semi comfortable position ...i had a severe pinched nerve in my back and could not sit or stand without severe pain. . After seeing the doctor I was told to go back out front ...they called me backand said the doctor was ready to give me my results ..I was left standing in front of the nurse station and waited for over an hout.. everyone just kept passing by me..why would you call somebody back to ... read more
Hated it because of service. Had nothing to do with the heart attack. It was not knowing what was up 4 hrs.
If I could give zero stars, I would. When someone comes in in pain, they shouldn't be treated as if they are just making it up. I use the ED as my last resort due to the treatment and judgement I receive. No one should be made to feel ashamed because they are in pain. I will never use this ED again, and willl make sure my friends and family use a different emergency department.
The nurses whom greeted me were very nice and inviting. They offered advice and calmed me down after my encounter with a scorpion. They even offered me further advice on how to handle living in an area with scorpions. Thanks night shift, Delekia Gastineau
