Best hummus, garlic fries, Moroccan mint ice tea and warm hospitality – The food was excellent; service was warm, friendly and efficient; atmosphere was relaxing; lots of food variety on the menu; and they have the most interesting bathroom!!!! Highly recommended

Poor service – I'm not going to lie, I enjoyed coming to Cayenne. I was a regular customer with my friends for quite some time, felt the food was alright (no NYC) and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I'll never ever return again after being insulted by the restaurant owner, who implied I was too cheap to sit at his restaurant. I had already cooked myself a meal at home, but decided to join the company of my friends at their request. I felt bad for not having anything, so I ordered a side of rice that came out in a small cup.... read more

User review by misterhotel32 – My wife and I are regulars at Cayenne. I just want to say that the review of misslisamouse didn't make any sense. We order desserts there very often. They are $5.50 and so big that one person can not finish it all by himself. So there is no way they had only 3 desserts & 3 coffees. One thing is clear though: if you are in such a tight financial situation that you can't invest in a dinner($8.50 to $14), you should ask for the price before you order.

Definitely Leaves something to be Desired – I went to this restaurant with a couple of friends to stop in for a coffee after catching a revival film at the New Beverly Cinema next door. I couldn't find desserts on the menu, but we each ordered a pastry with our coffee because we didn't want to invest in a meal. Well, we may as well have, because the unlisted dessert prices trapped us into a bill over $40 for a light snack. The teen waitress was inattentive and impatient, and when I asked if she could make a seperate check (s... read more

Exotic oasis on Beverly zips up cafe fare with Moroccan/Mediterranean flavors and belly dancers. – In Short This bright, cheerful Mediterranean cafe attracts an eclectic Beverly crowd for all-day breakfasts, sunny lunches and lively Middle Eastern dinners. Stamped metal lanterns hang over the large sidewalk patio; inside Casablanca fans, oriental silk pillows, candles and fountains lend a romantic feel. The menu conjures Morocco, Tuscany, Greece, and Persia. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads include touches of aioli, ta... read more
