great ambiance, amazing food, wonderful service – The food at Cayenne is some of the best I've had in the area...I've eaten there on numerous occasions and am always very pleased. The ambiance makes it even nicer, you can sit outside on the patio or inside in a cozy, very nicely decorated dinning room. It's nice for a romantic date or just with friends or family. The food is very unique and has something that everyone can enjoy, and the prices are great (especially for LA). The first time I went there I was very impressed wi... read more
THE OWNER LEASHED OUT AT MY GF!! – So I was at this restaurant with my girlfriend and friends for a quiet dinner. Everything was fine and we got ready to pay the bill. My gf decided to pay the bill and she decided to place a 5 dollar tip. The service was nothing special, nor did we feel like royalty. The bill was 80 bucks btw. Then the owner comes back to my gf and ask "is that 15 or a 5?" my gf said "5" then he said " who tips 5 dollars on a 80 dollar bill?" he said that mumbling as he was walking back to the front counter.... read more
Some of the best food in Los Angeles! – With a delicate, yet not-so-overwhelming hint of Morrocan flavor, Cayenne Cafe is one of the most delightful places to eat in Los Angeles! A wide array of food keeps you coming back as to try everything on the menu at least once. However, once you find a favorite, you'll find it very difficult to choose something else instead. Cayenne has super friendly service and a clean romantic, cozy feeling that hooks you the second you walk in. Delightful teas and coffee brews are also a specialt... read more
Amazing breakfast on Beverly!! – We stopped into Cayenne last week on a trip from Vegas and were blown away by the food. There were lots of unique ingredients to choose from, my goat cheese, red pepper, purple onion, smoked turkey scramble made my day. The breakfast potatoes were awesome, prepared with really flavorful spices and a great Cayenne House Hot Sauce on the side. Nice big selection of hot teas to choose from and really fast, friendly service. Genuine hospitality, can't wait to dine here again on our next trip to L... read more
Great lunch place – I have been here twice, and both times I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The wait staff is attentive and the food has been delicious both times. I haven't tried their dinners, but I will make it a point to return one evening if it promises to be as good as lunch.
Nice area, decor and service but mediocre food – Very cute, low-key place in a prime spot and the owner/manager and servers were great and attentive to our group of 5, which is a rare combination in L.A.. Meanwhile, the food was just good but not great.
Amazingly refined cuisine with a refreshing mix of Eastern spices – My friend and I decided to try something different last Thursday and looked up Cayenne on City Search. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very polite gentleman who promptly led us to a nice outdoor table. I looked at the menu and was surprised to find such an eclectic mix of Moroccan, French, Italian, Greek and American food on the menu. My friend who had been here before, told me Cayenne Cafe is one of only 3 restaurants in town that orders the highest leve... read more
Great find! – Last night, my boyfriend and I were searching for a restaurant to go to near La Brea. We did not want to go anywhere that was crowded nor a place where we could not hear each other. We saw Cayenne on Beverly and decided to give it a try. It looked cute enough from the outside. It wasn't completely crowded but not empty enough to scare us away. We were surprised to find that it was a Moroccan restaurant. We were welcomed by a friendly man, who appeared to be an owner or manager. We were seated immediately in the... read more
